The NASSCOM Gaming Forum has announced that it will be launching a mentoring program for budding talent in the country.
New development studios looking for guidance will be able to apply to the program, and if shortlisted, will be paired with a mentor who will guide them and provide insight from their years of experience in the industry. Each batch will consist of the top 6 studios shortlisted by the NGF Mentorship Advisory Team, and the progress between mentor and mentee will be tracked, with a review after 3 months.
Applications are to be made through a ‘call for intent’ which will require the studio to give a clear explanation of their existing plan for their game. Prospective studios must have also released at least one game to be eligible for the program.
More information about the program can be found here.
